Commercial debt collection agencies are not governed by the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) compliance guidelines. However, in most cases, CSG's policies and procedures are more stringent than FDCPA guidelines and requirements. While CSG's collector policies are patterned after the FDCPA, in practice, the company's policies are generally stricter. Collectors sign a statement of complicance with CSG's policies.

Customer Complaint Policy
CSG handles and documents all complaints received from debtors with professionalism, respect for debtor's rights, and with emphasis on resolving any peripheral issues so that the collection process may continue. CSG will monitor complaints received from consumers and other parties and will take appropriate action.
CSG is not only willing and able to provide direct communication with your collector; it is standard course for our collection operations. Successful agency/client relationships depend on effective communication and agency responsiveness. In addition, CSG's Vice President of Collections oversees each client program.
Unlimited Access to Communicate Directly
Accounts are assigned to collectors first by industy experience and then according to balance ranges. By assigning accounts by balance range, we are able to closely tie the skills and abilites of each collector with the balance to be collected.
