Litigation Assistance
When all attempts to resolve a debt have been exhausted and litigation becomes the only alternative, CSG will do everything possible to assist you with compiling the necessary documentation. Our network of attorneys throughout the United States has the capability of handling all legal procedures on behalf of our clients.
CSG reviews accounts on an individual basis to determine the point at which
litigation becomes a viable option. Our membership in the ACA maintains working
relationships with bonded and insured commercial collection attorneys in every
jurisdiction, ensuring that the client's interest is pursued to the fullest
extent in the United States and abroad.
When an account is forwarded to an attorney, CSG provides counsel with all available, relevant account information, including credit reports, amount and location of real estate and other assets owned by the debtor and any information regarding liens, judgments and suits against the debtor. The attorney's initial efforts include telephone and letter demands attempting to resolve the account without a suit. Should these attempts be unsuccessful, the sum of the attorney's recommendations, CSG's experience, client preference and an overall evaluation of the attorney's report are used to guide our decision-making process. If the account remains suit worthy, the debtor is sued with the express permission of our client.
CSG directs its' efforts toward obtaining judgments against debtors and executing on those judgments. After a judgment has been entered against a debtor, CSG takes a number of measures designed to ensure that the judgment is executed and the debtor's obligations are recovered in an expeditious manner.
